Today we were honoured to welcome Dr. Christian Keller from IBM to our Chairman's Lunch in Zurich.
His introduction the Topic: " From Cybercrime to Cyberwar: What companies should know – Impact on international trade" sparked an interesting and lively discussion.
Protecting the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure and its supply chains is essential, as these systems underpin our daily lives—from electricity and water to healthcare and transportation. The growing threat of identity theft and data piracy is poised to become even more severe with the arrival of quantum computing, which will soon be commercially available. This emerging technology poses a significant challenge to current cybersecurity standards and must be taken seriously by both companies and governments. Proactive measures are required to mitigate these risks and ensure the security of our most vital systems. In this context, ICC also published a paper “Protecting the cybersecurity of critical infrastructures and their supply chains” last July.
We thank all our guests for the stimulating discussion. A special thanks goes of course to Dr. Christian Keller for his time and expertise.
