Change in the chairmanship of ICC Switzerland

After 10 years in the Chair, Mr Thomas Wellauer, chairman of ICC Switzerland, has decided to step down and to pass the baton on. ICC Switzerland is pleased to announce that, following the proposal of economiesuisse, the Board of ICC Switzerland elected Yannick Hausmann from HSBC as his successor at its Board meeting of 14 August.

ICC Switzerland is very grateful to Thomas Wellauer for his excellent and tireless work and the liaison with the ICC Secretariat in Paris as member of the Executive Board over 6 years. With Thomas Wellauer, the Board was delighted to have someone with integrity, who has always acted with honesty and respect, true to our values and who has made the right decisions. He was very committed and always did an excellent job. Thomas Wellauer will remain close to ICC Switzerland as Honorary member of the Board.

Yannick Hausmann took office at the Annual Assembly. ICC Switzerland will have an excellent Chairman in Yannick, who is a very reputable and well-connected business personality and highly motivated to assume the task. Yannick was member of the Board of economiesuisse until recently. He is Non-Executive Chairman HSBC Private Bank (Switzerland). He is a qualified attorney and has been Group General Counsel for almost 12 years and member of the Group Executive Committee at Zurich Insurance Group. 

We say goodbye to Thomas and warmly welcome Yannick to our organisation!
